A Pair of Suspects Accused for Prison Murder of Ex-Lostprophets Vocalist Ian Watkins

A pair of suspects stand accused of murder after the incarceration fatality of ex-Lostprophets frontman and found guilty of child sex crimes Ian Watkins.

Rashid Gedel, 25, and Samuel Dodsworth, 43 now face murder accusations and will appear before Leeds magistrates’ court on Monday morning, as stated by law enforcement officials.

Watkins, 48 years old, was in the midst of a 29-year prison term at HMP Wakefield, plus an additional six years on license, after confessing to numerous sex crimes among them the attempted rape of a baby.

Watkins was apprehended subsequent to a narcotics search warrant at his Pontypridd home on 21 September 2012, when a large number of computers, mobile phones and storage devices were confiscated.
